We went 2-1 Saturday (1-1 on our official record, since the Blues pick was posted on Twitter and Facebook right before faceoff) before taking yesterday off.
Tampa became the first team to advance to the conference finals, putting the Islanders away yesterday with a 4-0 win in Game 5. It’s definitely impressive what the Lightning has done without Stamkos. Tampa will be underdogged next round against either Pittsburgh or Washington, but we can’t dismiss the chances of the Lightning reaching their second straight Cup final – especially if Stamkos returns.
Tonight, we’ve got 2 games to choose from. St. Louis is a -160 favourite to finish off the Stars at home in Game 6, and the Sharks are small road chalk to eliminate Nashville. We think both teams take care of business tonight, but can’t lay that price with the Blues so we’re just going with the Sharks.
Odds below are at the time we made the pick. Be sure to check out our live odds page for updated odds on today’s games.

San Jose has clearly been the better team in this series and may have already won it if it weren’t for a disallowed OT goal in Game 4. The Sharks responded well to losing 2 straight games in Nashville by coming out at home Saturday and dominating the Preds 5-1. The Sharks’ big guns are firing, with Pavelski (two), Marleau and Couture all scoring in Game 5 and Thornton drawing two assists.
At this short price, we see value on the Sharks – the NHL’s best road team during the regular season – to continue that momentum into tonight and advance to the West final.
