NHL Betting Tips For Wednesday, January 25

Jon and DerekYesterday was our toughest night in over a month, as we lost our Best Bet and went 2-7 overall.

It would have been nice if the Stars hadn’t missed the net on a 3-on-0 in OT, or if the Flames hadn’t scored a meaningless goal with 1 second left in the third period to put their game Over the total.

Weird night in general last night as the goal-hemorrhaging Blues blanked the high-scoring Penguins in Pittsburgh, the Sabres scored twice in the final 6 minutes of the third and then in OT to beat the Predators, and the Lightning scored four goals in the third to down the Blackhawks in Chicago.

When you see weird things like that, it makes you wonder if some of these players are checking out mentally a little early with the all-star break around the corner.

On to tonight, with 4 games on the board. We don’t feel strongly enough about any of them to recommend any as a Best Bet, but we’ve still broken them down and posted our opinions below. Good luck!

Odds below are at the time we made the pick. Be sure to check out our live odds page for updated odds on today’s games.
