NHL Betting Tips For Thursday, November 8

Jon and DerekIt’s another nine-game board in the National Hockey League tonight, although it’s a bit lacking for marquee matchups. Five of the nine contests are non-conference affairs, and four of the favourites are priced at -150 or higher on the moneyline.

On the bright side, there are several motivational and letdown spots that we can try to capitalize on tonight. In Florida, you’ve got the Panthers playing their first game since Friday in Finland playing host to a roadweary Oilers team (we put out a poll on Twitter to see which team people thought was at a bigger disadvantage, and the early returns came back pretty even).

Elsewhere, Dallas comes back home after a gruelling 6-game eastern road trip and immediately has to host the Sharks, Chicago plays its first game post-Quenneville and the Kings look to build on Tuesday’s victory in Willie Desjardins’ coaching debut.

Read more about all the matchups below, including the three bets we’ve made tonight. Good luck!

Odds below are at the time we made the pick. Be sure to check out our live odds page for updated odds on today’s games.
