Just when you think you’ve got things figured out in NHL betting, the gambling gods serve you up some humble pie.
After a 4-1 Saturday that put us on an 18-10 run over the previous 3 weeks, we’ve come back to earth this week with a 1-5 run. 3 of those 5 losses came by a goal, but it was still a reminder of why solid bankroll management is the biggest key to winning in sports betting, no matter how confident you are in your plays.
On the bright side, we’re still up on the season (+0.6 units) and due for variance to swing back in our direction. We also really like today’s board (and Saturdays have been really good to us this season, going 9-1), so hopefully we get things back on track tonight.
We’re on 5 games today, including an early start in Philadelphia. Since we try to get these out as early as possible on Saturdays, we always recommend you be sure to double-check goaltending matchups before making any plays of your own. Good luck!
