Stanley Cup Betting Tips For Thursday, April 13

Jon and DerekThe Stanley Cup playoffs got underway last night to mixed reviews from opening night.

The competition was definitely intense, with 2 of the 5 games going to OT and 3 of them being decided by 1 goal (the Rangers also led 1-0 before a late empty netter).

But it was also a bit dull at times, with 3 of the games featuring 3 goals or less and just 1 not going Under the total (Sharks/Oilers, with San Jose winning 3-2 in OT to push the O/U of 5.)

Hopefully, after a regular season in which goal scoring seemed to be going up a bit, we can see a bit more offence as the playoffs unfold.

Three more playoff series get underway tonight! Like we said yesterday, it’s always a bit of a guessing game for Game 1 of the playoffs. That may especially be true tonight as these teams haven’t played since Sunday, if not longer.

Good luck tonight!
