Stanley Cup Betting Tips For Wednesday, May 4

Jon and DerekWe pushed last night on the Sharks/Predators over 5.

Forsberg scored on an absolute rocket to give Nashville a 4-1 lead fairly late in the 3rd period and guarantee us a push. Each team had great chances in the final minutes but couldn’t quite bump us over the total.

Our playoffs single-game record remained at 9-7 for +2.6 units, with 4 pushes thrown in. We’re also up nearly 4 units on our series bets after going 6-2 in Round 1, though 2 of our 3 series picks in Round 2 are trailing 2-1.

That includes the Islanders, who saw a late 4-3 lead slip away in a 5-4 OT loss (what a great game that was). The other game last night was the Blues spanking Dallas 6-1. We have been critical of the Stars’ Stanley Cup chances because of their defensive weaknesses, and St. Louis certainly exposed them yesterday.

Tonight, we have just 1 game to bet on. We locked in our bet this morning (posted on Facebook and Twitter) concerned that the line might move. It has a little bit, but not enough to worry about, especially if you play at a reduced juice book like Pinnacle, BetOnline or 5Dimes.

Good luck with your bets tonight!
