It was a 1-1 split for us yesterday, winning easily with the Red Wings over Ottawa (5-1) but losing our Bruins/Jets Over by half a goal.
The Boston/Winnipeg game actually wasn’t that close, as the score was 2-1 late in regulation time. Boston scored 2 goals in the final couple of minutes to tease us a bit.
Full board of NHL games to choose from tonight, and we’re in action on 3 games. Good luck.

Canucks are 2-0 but we can’t forget that they were projected to be one of the NHL’s worst teams this season. Both wins also came in overtime/shootouts at home against teams that aren’t exactly sureshots to make the playoffs this year.
St. Louis enters tonight with a 3-0 mark and having beaten tougher opponents (Blackhawks, Wild, Rangers). This is the first game of a road trip for the Blues, which is usually a high-focus spot as teams want to get their trips started on a good note. St. Louis is well rested, being off since Saturday, while the Canucks are playing their third game in 4 nights.
We considered taking the Blues at -145 but we’ll shoot for a better payout by asking them to win in regulation time instead. If this one does go to OT or a shootout, we wouldn’t want to be laying -145 at that point anyway.

Anaheim can’t possibly start 0-4, can they? Yeah, they certainly could. The Ducks started like crap last year before finally getting going, and they’re showing signs of doing that again. Playing their third road game in four nights, and fourth in sixth, isn’t an ideal way to snap out of a slump, even against an average team like the Devils. New Jersey is playing its home opener and gave the Lightning all it could handle Saturday in Tampa before enjoying the last two days off.

Ottawa is yet another team playing for the third time in four nights, coming off a 5-1 spanking in Detroit last night. Arizona couldn’t be better rested, having only played 1 game this year – and winning it at home vs Philly. The Senators have struggled in the past playing on short rest (4-12 last 16 games when having played the previous night, 0-5 in their last 5 playing for the 3rd time in 4 nights) and Craig Anderson’s back in net tonight which we’re not sure is a good thing for Ottawa.
