NHL Betting Tips For Tuesday, March 7

Jon and DerekCouple of tough beats for our leans last night as empty netters from outside the blue line turned a potential 1-0 evening (with 3 pushes) into an 0-2 showing.

We were personally on the Stars/Capitals Under 5.5 and knew we were in trouble as soon as Dallas got to 3 goals. The Caps pressed the rest of the game and pulled to within 3-2 until Patrick Sharp scored an empty netter from his own end to put the game Over.

By the way, whenever you like Dallas on the moneyline, you might want to sprinkle a bit on the -1.5 puck line as well. The Stars have a green light to shoot at the empty net from their own end, as opposed to some other teams who fear icing too much and just do a soft dump out of their zone.

On to tonight, where there are 9 games on the board. Below is our favourite bet of the day (sorry, it’s an Under), plus stats, trends and leans for the other 8 games.

Good luck tonight!
