NHL Betting Tips For Tuesday, February 21

Jon and Derek

Our leans went 0-1 with a push yesterday, with both decided in the final seconds of regulation.

The Panthers scored with less than 5 seconds remaining in the third period to beat the Blues 2-1 in St. Louis, while the Ducks scored with 27 ticks left on the clock in a 3-2 loss to the Coyotes that pushed the Over/Under 5.

That’s the way things seem to be going over the past week or so in the NHL – not a whole lot of margin for error, and a whole lot of unpredictability. We actually feel fortunate to still be positive overall in February (50-43, +3.1 units on all picks and leans posted on our site) but we’re also getting a bit tired of spinning our wheels and hope to go on a good run soon.

Hopefully that starts tonight, where we find 9 games on the NHL slate. Below is our favourite bet of the day, along with stats, trends and leans on the rest of the games tonight.

We always encourage you to use the info provided to make bets based on your own opinions as well, but that might especially be a good idea these days until we get our leans headed in the right direction again.

Good luck!
