NHL Betting Tips For Tuesday, December 12

Jon and DerekWhat a weird night that was in the NHL yesterday, highlighted by the Avalanche’s 2-1 upset win in Pittsburgh as +190 underdogs. 7 of the 12 teams in action scored just 1 goal in regulation time, including both teams that we bet to go Over their 2.5 team total.

We’ve been expecting goal scoring in the NHL to slow down for a while now, but definitely not to that extreme. Hopefully we aren’t subjected to that type of soccer on ice for much longer!

There are 9 games in the NHL tonight, and plenty of injury news to be aware of. Auston Matthews is out of the lineup tonight for the Leafs, Alex Pietrangelo and Jayden Schwartz are both MIA for the Blues, and Marc-Andre Fleury returns tonight in net for the Golden Knights.

We’ve personally got bets on just 2 of the 9 games tonight as we look to break out of a recent funk. Good luck tonight!

Odds below are at the time we made the pick. Be sure to check out our live odds page for updated odds on today’s games.
