NHL Betting Tips For Tuesday, April 3

Jon and Derek

The Boston Bruins can essentially clinch top spot in the Atlantic Division tonight when they visit the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight in one of nine games on Tuesday’s NHL slate.

Just three months ago, Tampa looked like the runaway winner of the Atlantic, holding a 10-point lead over Boston when the calendar turned to the new year. But the Bruins have incredibly earned points in 41 of their last 48 games (34-7-7) to constantly gain ground on Tampa, and the Lightning’s recent struggles opened the door for Boston to finally move past them.

Elsewhere tonight, the Devils, Flyers, Blue Jackets and Sharks all look to improve their playoff positioning with victories while the Panthers need a win over the Predators just to stay alive in the hunt for the postseason.

With an awful March finally behind us, we’re looking to right the ship in the final week of the regular season and build some momentum going into the playoffs ourselves. We’re personally on one game tonight, but have opinions on the rest of the board that you can check out below as well. (Those leans are worth paying attention to as they have fared a lot better than our actual bets of late, including going 6-2 on Saturday.)

Odds below are at the time we made the pick. Be sure to check out our live odds page for updated odds on today’s games.
