NHL Betting Tips For Thursday, November 16

Jon and DerekIt was a good night to be an Over bettor last night, as all 3 games went over the total.

Our bet on the Flames/Red Wings Over 5.5 (posted yesterday on Facebook and Twitter) cashed by the 5-minute mark of the second period as the teams combined to score 10 goals. We also liked the Team Total Over 2.5 for both the Rangers and Ducks, and each ended up winning as well.

There are 12 games tonight in the National Hockey League as several teams finally get back into action after having 4-5 days off. That includes the Senators and Avalanche, who played last weekend in Sweden.

Even though the NHL schedulemakers gave those teams a chance to settle back in after their trip, it’ll be interesting to see if playing overseas will take a toll on the Sens and Avs early on tonight.

We’ve got 3 bets in tonight’s action, along with the usual stats, trends, analysis and opinions for the rest of the NHL slate. Good luck tonight, and we’ll be back Saturday.

Odds below are at the time we made the pick. Be sure to check out our live odds page for updated odds on today’s games.
