NHL Betting Tips For Thursday, January 12

Jon and DerekOur hot streak continued yesterday with a 4-0 evening, bumping us to 21-5 on all picks and leans posted on our website since Saturday.

The Panthers stayed Under their 2.5 Team Total despite scoring twice in the first 21 minutes of their game against the Islanders. Florida was outshot 12-1 in the third period but held on for a 2-1 victory.

The other wins came easier. Montreal covered the Team Total Over 2.5 by the end of the first period, blowing out the Jets 7-4; the Capitals scored in the opening minutes of their game against Pittsburgh to cash the First Period Moneyline; and San Jose led Calgary 2-1 after 20 minutes to cover the First Period Moneyline as well.

We continue to attract new readers so we just wanted to say what we always have during a hot run: There’s no such thing as a lock in the NHL (or any sport), and we don’t recommend betting way more than you usually do just because we’ve hit a lot of winners lately. If anything, we’re probably due for a little regression, so continue to tread carefully and just pick out a few games you like.

9 games in the National Hockey League tonight. Below is our favourite bet of the day, along with stats, trends and tips on the other 8 contests. Good luck!
