NHL Betting Tips For Thursday, February 22

Jon and DerekEven though the National Hockey League chose not to shut down its season to send players to the Olympics, the recent schedule has been extremely condensed.

A lot of teams playing tonight are in action for the 4th time in 6 days and/or haven’t had more than 1 day between games in the last 2 weeks. There are a few matchups on tonight’s 11-game board in which teams in those situations have to face squads who have had the past 2 days off (or more), which puts the tired team at an extreme disadvantage. (We’ve tried to make note of those situations in the game breakdowns below.)

We split our two bets Tuesday and won with the Ducks Team Total Under 2.5 +125 last night as Anaheim downed the Stars 2-0. The Ducks didn’t score at even strength and were limited to just 17 shots on net, but we also got a bit fortunate that Anaheim didn’t score an empty netter despite Dallas pulling the goalie with more than 3 minutes to go.

We’ve got 4 picks in tonight’s action, including 2 with the potential of plus money return. Good luck with your bets tonight!

Odds below are at the time we made the pick. Be sure to check out our live odds page for updated odds on today’s games.
