NHL Betting Tips For Saturday, October 27

Jon and DerekIt was a nice bounceback 3-0 for us last night, with all 3 winners coming pretty comfortably.

Ottawa built a 2-0 first-period lead and carried a 2-1 advantage into the intermission to cash the first period moneyline +114; the Blues and Hurricanes combined to go scoreless in the first period and go Under 1.5; and the Predators edged the Blackhawks 2-1 to make the Under 5.5 a winner.

(Those picks were posted on Facebook and Twitter, since we only publish site posts on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.)

On Thursday, we split our 2 bets, winning the Coyotes/Rangers Over 6 but losing on the Sharks Team Total Over 2.5. For the year, we currently stand at 17-12 for +5.3 units.

4 of the 6 games in the NHL last night finished with 2-1 scores. As hockey fans, we don’t want the early offence to go away, but as bettors there should be value in the Under in a lot of games until oddsmakers stop hanging 5.5 totals (or higher) on every matchup.

There are 12 games today in the NHL, including an afternoon matchup in Buffalo. Below are breakdowns of each game today, along with our picks and opinions. Good luck today!

Odds below are at the time we made the pick. Be sure to check out our live odds page for updated odds on today’s games.
