NHL Betting Tips For Saturday, March 31

Jon and DerekIt’s hard to believe, but today is the second-last Saturday of the NHL regular season. There are 12 games on the slate today, highlighted by 3 matinee starts, a showdown of the top Canadian teams between the Jets and Leafs in Toronto, and the opportunity for Vegas to clinch the Pacific Division crown on home ice.

It’s also the final day of March, a happy sight for us as this has been our worst month in 2 seasons sharing our personal picks on this site. Some bad reads have contributed to a 20-27 record for -8.5 units so far in March, but we haven’t exactly been on the right side of much puck luck lately either.

Thursday, for example, we were 30 seconds away from a +190 first period moneyline winner on Arizona before the Kings scored on a deflected point shot to tie the game and push our wager. We also lost our Sharks Team Total Under by half a goal, thanks to seeing-eye shots from the point like this.

Hopefully it means we’re due for a couple of good bounces down the stretch of the regular season and into the playoffs. We’re going with just 2 bets for tonight, listed below along with breakdowns of all of tonight’s action. Good luck on whatever you play.

Odds below are at the time we made the pick. Be sure to check out our live odds page for updated odds on today’s games.
