NHL Betting Tips For Saturday, January 20

Jon and DerekThe NHL bye weeks are officially behind us for this season as the last seven teams return to action tonight from their mid-season hibernation.

Three of those teams – the Wild, Hurricanes and Blackhawks – will face opponents who have already returned from their byes. So far this year, teams coming back from byes are 4-4-2 in their first game when facing teams who aren’t off their bye, though it’s interesting to note that just one of those 10 bye-week teams has won in regulation. (None have won by more than 1 goal, either.)

Another solid month continued Thursday with a 2-0 night (highlighted by a +130 first period winner on the Golden Knights in Tampa), getting us to 13-9 for +3.9 units in January and a season-high +15.2 units on the year.

We’ll try to build on that today with 4 more bets, including a pair in afternoon action. Good luck if you’re tailing along or whatever else you’re on today.

Odds below are at the time we made the pick. Be sure to check out our live odds page for updated odds on today’s games.
