NHL Betting Tips For Saturday, February 4

Jon and DerekWe went 2-3 last night, hitting our Best Bet on the Islanders Team Total Over 2.5 and the Penguins Team Total Over 3.5 (at plus money), but losing Ducks TT Over, Devils TT Under and Oilers +0.5 in regulation.

Three early games on a busy Saturday so we’re in a bit of a rush this morning to get this out fast. Oddsmakers continue to take their time putting up lines on these Saturday games, so we’ll have to add our leans on a few games later today once all first period and team total odds are posted.

Our favourite bet of the day also happens to be the first game of the day. No time for a typical Best Bet writeup on that, but we expect the Habs to come back with a much stronger effort offensively after getting just 16 shots Thursday in Philly – and Washington’s been good for both scoring goals and giving them up with regularity of late.

Below that are stats, trends and our opinions on the rest of the games on the board today.

Good luck!

Odds below are at the time we made the pick. Be sure to check out our live odds page for updated odds on today’s games.
