NHL Betting Tips For Saturday, December 31

Jon and DerekA 2-2 night overall for us yesterday, including a Best Bet loss on the Canucks Team Total Under 2.5 as Vancouver rallied from a 2-0 second-period deficit to tie the game 2-2, then won in OT.

It’s the final day of 2016. We hope you have a great time tonight ringing in the new year, stay safe if you’re out on the roads, and wish everyone the absolute best in 2017.

Speaking of 2017, we’ll be sitting the first day of it out. There’s just 3 games on the schedule, including an outdoor game between the Red Wings and Leafs. We don’t bet on those outdoor games anyway because of how many variables are involved (ie. ice quality, sun in players’ eyes, etc.) but there has seemed to be a trend of those games going Under.

11 games in the NHL tonight! Below is our favourite bet of the day, followed by stats, trends and tips for the other 10. (2 of the games were early starts, and we posted our leans on those games on Twitter earlier today.)

Odds below are at the time we made the pick. Be sure to check out our live odds page for updated odds on today’s games.
