NHL Betting Tips For Friday, November 4

Jon and DerekWe went 1-2 last night with all our bets decided by a goal or less.

The Over 5.5 on the Flyers and Islanders fell short by 0.5 goals as the Flyers won 3-2 in a shootout; we cashed the Under in Calgary/San Jose by 0.5 goals as the Flames upset the Sharks 3-2; and our Canucks +0.5 in regulation bet lost by 1 goal as Vancouver fell 1-0 in Ottawa.

The Canucks have now been blanked in 4 of 5 games, twice of those times by the Senators. If Vancouver can’t score against the Leafs’ 29th-ranked defence Saturday night, it might be time for the NHL to revoke the franchise.

There are just 3 games tonight in the NHL as Montreal visits Columbus, the Jets are in Detroit and the Ducks host Arizona. We considered betting on the Blue Jackets to end the Habs’ unbeaten-in-regulation streak to start the season, especially with Montreal sitting Carey Price, but passed on that game. We’re going with only 1 bet tonight and prepping for a busy day tomorrow.

Odds below are at the time we made the pick. Be sure to check out our live odds page for updated odds on today’s games.

Good luck!
