NHL Betting Tips For Friday, February 17

Jon and DerekWe went 2-4 overall yesterday, including a Best Bet loser on the Rangers to beat the Islanders.

It’s been a slower week in the NHL with a lot less games scheduled. Six teams have been on their bye week and it seems like the other teams have had a few more days off than usual between games.

That lack of continuity might be why we’ve found this week to be one of the toughest to read this season (along with after the Christmas break and all-star break). Situations and trends aren’t quite jumping off the page the way they usually do.

With that said, we’re not personally betting any games tonight as we wait to get a better feel on the league again.

We’ve still got stats, trends and leans on the 3 games tonight, and hopefully you’ll still find those helpful. We just advise you not to blindly follow our opinions (we actually suggest that all the time anyway).

Good luck tonight! And if you’ve got any strong feelings on the games tonight that might help everyone out, please feel free to weight in in the comments section below.

Odds below are at the time we made the pick. Be sure to check out our live odds page for updated odds on today’s games.
