NHL Betting Tips For Friday, December 29

Jon and DerekWe’re back for the second day in a row, thanks to a rare busy Friday night in the National Hockey League today with 11 games on the board.

There will only be 6 games on Saturday night as the NHL adjusts its schedule this week to serve up an 8-game slate on New Year’s Eve. So we don’t plan to have a post up for tomorrow’s games, but will try to have something for the busier Sunday board.

We lost our first period wager on the Golden Knights +117 last night, though Vegas came back to defeat the Kings 3-2 in overtime and extend their points streak to 11 games (10-0-1). It’s getting to the point now where the Knights aren’t just likely to be the first expansion team since 1967-68 to make the playoffs (an entire division that year was made up of expansion teams), they might actually even win a round or two.

We’re going with a couple of Team Total wagers tonight, including an Over in what should be another high-scoring game tonight in Winnipeg. You can check those out below, along with the breakdowns for the rest of the games. Good luck tonight!

Odds below are at the time we made the pick. Be sure to check out our live odds page for updated odds on today’s games.
