NHL Betting Tips For Thursday, November 1

Jon and Derek12 games in the National Hockey League tonight – plus some rare weekday afternoon action as the Jets take on the Panthers in Finland. Hopefully your boss isn’t looking over your shoulder too much today so you can take in some of what should be a pretty entertaining contest.

We don’t have any action on that game, and we likely won’t be on tomorrow afternoon’s clash in Finland either. There’s already enough variables in hockey handicapping without having to worry about how the teams react to travelling across the world, so we prefer to sit these types of games out.

We are, however, on 5 games tonight in a board that we like a lot. They’re the fun type of bets as well, backing two full-game Overs, two first-period moneylines and one standard moneyline. No having to cheer against goals being scored like we did Tuesday in the Islanders/Penguins game, to no avail. Fortunately, our other plays Tuesday went 2-0-1 as we managed to close October with a small profit of +1.1 units – nothing to get excited about, but we’ll take it after a 2-6, -4 unit start to the year.

Historically, November-February are our strongest months, so we’re looking forward to getting on a roll. Good luck, whether you’re just tailing along or whether (as we prefer) you’re using the opinions and writeups to make your own plays.

Odds below are at the time we made the pick. Be sure to check out our live odds page for updated odds on today’s games.
